Paul's passion for art and architecture started at a young age. Born and raised in the Pennsylvania countryside he remembers being attracted to the barns and farmhouses throughout the picturesque landscape. At an early age he became inspired by the works of Eric Sloane, an artist known for his drawings and paintings of Early American rural architecture. From this influence Paul grew as an artist along with his interest for structures old and new.
Drawing and painting had been Paul's concentration of study, but it was during his time at Lehigh University when he became a photographer. The world of photography opened up new and endless possibilities in capturing architectural images that he continues to explore and be passionate about today. Paul completed his BFA in fine art photography from Kutztown State University of Pennsylvania. He is also certified from the Leica Akademie in Solms, Germany, which exposed him to a unique style of photography using a rangefinder system.
Today, Paul enjoys both architectural and interior design photography. Whether ancient or modern, he feels that the works of architects and designers are an inspiration worthy of recognition and remembrance that should be captured and preserved with integrity.
